- Performing procedures on tissue beneath the dermis or mucous membrane
- Manipulate spinal joints beyond voluntary range using high-velocity thrusts

- Administering substances via injection, inhalation, irrigation, enteral or parenteral instillation.
- Using hyperbaric chambers for medical treatment
Instrument Insertion
Inserting instruments or fingers into:
(i) Ear canal up to the eardrum
(ii) Nasal passages beyond the narrowing point
(iii) Urethral opening, labia majora, anal verge, or artificial body opening

- Using ultrasound for diagnostic imaging (including fetal imaging)
- Using electricity for tissue destruction or defibrillation
- Using X-rays expect for computerized axial tomography
