Meet Michael Esselen - Alternative Health Coach

Meet Michael Esselen, PhD

Founder of Nature Wave Clinic in Vancouver, BC

As an alternative health coach, I offer personalized complementary wellness services in a calm, welcoming environment, with a focus on relaxation, wellbeing, and informed choices.

Why I Started Nature Wave

I founded Nature Wave Clinic in 2018 to create a supportive space for individuals to explore holistic healthcare approaches and receive clear, practical insights about energy therapy.

My goal is to help clients understand the various energy therapy services available, feel comfortable asking questions, and choose methods that align with their personal wellness objectives.

My Approach to Wellness

I believe that wellbeing encompasses various facets of everyday life, such as movement, rest, mindset, environment, and connection.

At Nature Wave Clinic, I provide frequency-based wellness sessions, PEMF, red and near-infrared light therapies, along with other complementary services. Each session is tailored to your comfort, preferences, and goals, ensuring a holistic experience.

My Background

With years of studying complementary wellness approaches and exploring the technologies used at Nature Wave Clinic, my focus includes energy therapy, frequency-based systems, PEMF, red light, grounding, and bioenergetic wellness assessments.

Since opening the clinic, I have assisted clients in Vancouver looking to delve into alternative health practices that promote relaxation and overall wellbeing.

Education and Professional Background

My educational background includes:

- MSc and BSc in Science and Biology,

- PhD in Management from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

- ND/NMD qualifications in naturopathy and natural medicine, obtained in India through studies conducted in English.

- Prior experience as an assistant lecturer at the University of South Africa (UNISA).

- Ongoing study of complementary wellness practices and frequency-based technologies.

While my PhD is in Management and my ND/NMD qualifications were earned outside Canada, I am not registered as a naturopathic doctor in British Columbia. My work at Nature Wave Clinic is centred on providing complementary wellness services and education in holistic healthcare.
